I’m having a problem installing ZOPIM. We use WordPress and I have copied and pasted the script in but it is not recognising it as script?
When I copy and paste script to set up zopim live chat on our website WordPress does not recognise the script. I have downloaded the wordpree plug-in but not sure how to install it?
Hi Kelly,
No worries. Once you have installed the plugin on your WordPress site ensure that you activate it (below the plugin title in the plugins list). Once activated the plugin will appear towards the bottom of your dashboard menu (on the left hand side).
This will add a “Zopim Chat” option. If you open this it will guide you through setting up an account. For simple usage you can use the free version, it covers more than enough for small to medium operators with one person on the back end monitoring the chat.
From here it is a simple case of setting up any auto responders you would like and logging in each day to manage your chat sessions.
To manage your sessions you can either log in to the back end of your site like you did to set up the plugin or head over to zopim.com and follow the dashboard link to login in your browser.
Hopefully this has helped out. If not let me know on our live chat and I will be happy to guide you further.
Cheers
Mel
